Louise has 20 years' experience in the FMCG, retail and leisure sectors and is committed to continuing to develop Orcid's presence in these areas. With a family background in the food industry she retains a strong interest in supporting the development of branded and private label food manufacturers and retailers.

Working mainly at executive board level, Louise has particularly strong expertise in marketing, sales and general management appointments and works across the UK and internationally in the consumer sector.

One of the co-founders of The Orcid Partnership, Louise had previously worked as part of Whitehead Mann's consumer and retail division. After graduating from Leicester University, her early career was in the hotel sector followed by almost a decade working with Mars in a variety of commercial roles.

Outside of work, Louise’s life revolves around children and family. An interest in property has led to a holiday cottage project in Anglesey, and when time allows she enjoys a range of sports including mountain-biking and skiing. Louise completed the 26 mile Moonwalk in 2007, 2009 and 2011 raising over £3,500 for Breast Cancer charities walking with her daughters as part of the Orcid team.
