Our process
We believe that a structured, professional and rigorous process enables us to meet client and candidate expectations and we take full ownership of the project and management of any obstacles we meet along the way. This approach allows us to maintain momentum and deliver timely and successful outcomes - whilst also providing a high level of flexibility and responsiveness to the inevitable changes in diary commitments and circumstances.
Each process is slightly different, but the key milestones are:
- Briefing Process & Preparatory Work
Develop in-depth understanding of role, culture, requirements and success criteria through briefing meetings and where possible, site visits. Write and agree candidate brief, timetable and priority research targets - Research
Conduct full research of target organisations and sectors. All research, source and candidate contact by Orcid Partners, ensuring a high level of dialogue and engagement at all stages - Progress Meeting
Discuss initial research findings as 'long list' of potential candidates, as well as provide relevant market insight and feedback. Working meeting which help calibrate expectations, experience and compensation levels - Orcid Interviews & Referencing
All candidates are interviewed at by least one and often two Orcid Partners, providing rigorous assessment and evaluation of skills and fit. Two references are taken on all potential shortlist candidates - Short-list Meeting
Discuss recommended shortlist of three to five candidates, typically four weeks from the start of the project. Each candidate recommendation will be supported by full assessment report, references and where required psychometric analysis - Client Interviews
Orcid Partners support client interview arrangements and assessment as required - Offer Management
Final references taken for the preferred candidate, Orcid able to assist with negotiations around package, start dates, relocation etc - Post Placement
We remain in contact with both client and appointed candidate during notice period and crucial first few months in post enabling us to support a smooth transition
"I was utterly comfortable with the process, they were trusted advisors to my team."
