Terms of business
Assignment Fees
Fees are fixed in accordance with details included in any proposal documents and are based on candidates first year compensation (defined as salary plus mid-point bonus and any additional guaranteed payments).
The fee is payable in three equal stages: the first payment is due on acceptance of the proposal by the client; the second on the presentation of an acceptable shortlist; and the final payment on appointment, which is defined as written acceptance by the candidate of a written offer from the client.
If the assignment is cancelled within two weeks, only the first payment remains due. Should the assignment be cancelled beyond this date, but before shortlist, the first and second stages are payable. If the assignment is cancelled beyond shortlist, payment for all three stages is due.
The Orcid Partnership will include any internal candidates, as well as those introduced directly or by a third party to the client as part of the overall assessment process if required. The full fee will be payable if such individuals are appointed unless the assignment has been cancelled within the timeframes outlined above.
The Orcid Partnership will continue the search until it is brought to a successful conclusion with an appointment, or the assignment brief is materially altered or the assignment cancelled.
Additional/Interim Fees
A fee of 25% of base salary plus anticipated mid-point bonus is payable in the following circumstances:
- For any additional candidate/s introduced during the course of an assignment and subsequently hired by the client within a 12 month period.
- For any candidate introduced on an interim basis - where the charge will be pro-rated to reflect the length of the interim contract and any renewal of the contract up to a maximum of 12 months. This charge is payable quarterly in advance. If a candidate appointed on an interim basis is subsequently hired by the client, the full 25% is payable less any payments already made to Orcid for the hire of the interim.
- For any candidate introduced by Orcid outside the scope of a specific assignment.
